This Friday, Milán Djidara, CEO and co-founder of Eniax, a startup utilizing artificial intelligence to streamline and automate administrative tasks in healthcare, will travel to Dubai to participate in "Innova8" at Arab Health, one of the world's most significant events in health and innovation. Eniax is part of the 24 finalists who will compete in the global gathering taking place next week in the United Arab Emirates.

"For us, this means a lot because it's the world's largest health fair, with a 44-year history and over 100,000 visitors from different countries coming to see the innovations and advancements in healthcare," Djidara shares about the competition where the winner receives $10,000. He emphasizes that the most relevant aspect is gaining visibility and the networking opportunities that arise, as they are keen on expanding their services.

Eniax, through its virtual assistant Patricia, which operates in Spanish, Portuguese, and Catalan, is currently present in seven countries, serving over 6 million patients in more than 300 clinics, hospitals, and medical centers. The next step is to add three languages: English, French, and German. "It's a market 13 times larger than the one we are currently covering," notes the co-founder.

In this regard, he mentions that the goal for 2024 is to expand to Miami and Florida in general, as well as southern Texas, where there is a significant Spanish-speaking population. "Our technology, now proficient in English alongside Spanish, is a perfect combination to offer our service there," he says. Additionally, they are exploring opportunities in Germany.

In Chile, they hope to continue increasing their presence. They are currently operating at the Hospital del Salvador and have an agreed-upon pilot program with the Hospital Regional del Biobío, one of the most technologically advanced public healthcare facilities nationwide.
